The medieval church of St Ethelburga’s in central London was devastated by an IRA bomb in April 1993.
The conservation and stonemasonry firm St Blaise Ltd were tasked with the rebuilding and restoration which was completed using a mixture of new and reclaimed stone. Chicksgrove Quarry supplied the Chilmark Stone for the new replacement pieces.
St Ethelburga’s is now run as a Centre for Reconciliation and Peace and is open for the community to hire for small conferences, lectures, receptions or cultural events.
