Lovell Stone were delighted to supply our Chicksgrove stone to a new development on the edge of Tisbury, Wiltshire.
Wyndham Place is a mix of 90 private and social housing with two industrial units.
The properties on this development have been constructing using a mix of Brick, Render and Chicksgrove stone, all of which work in harmony with each other. The stone work construction has all been with a traditional cavity, with no backing block being used.
The site started in February 2012 and completed during Spring 2014 and the stone used has complemented many existing buildings in the area, enhancing the local landscape.
Chicksgrove is a beautiful historic stone, which graces classic buildings throughout the South of England. It is an approved match for rare English Limestone’s including Cambridge Clunch, Reigate Stone and Malmstone.
